Duo does not offer public memberships and all personal training sessions are by appointment only. This ensures there’s always enough space for you and your trainer.

The Studio
Duo’s elite studio in Chelsea boasts top of the line training equipment and facilities. The gym floor in particular has been custom designed for a functional layout with plenty of free space. Equipment includes; squat racks, free weights, dumbbells, pilates reformer, TRX and much more.

Kettlebells are a form of resistance training, they can be used for conditioning/ endurance, building a stronger back, stronger legs as well as building core and grip strength. Expect to learn new exercises, correct technique, build strength and control you didn't think you had and see the rest of your lifts and fitness improve! Muscle function and body mechanics do not change, however our body is susceptible to pain and imbalances. I'm an ex Ballet dancer who, owing to a heart condition, had to retire 7 years ago. Since then I have retrained as a Choreographer/Dance practitioner who works mainly with young people. My usual working day is fairly active but far below the kind of thing I would have done as a dancer. Because of the decrease in activity, generally ageing a bit and still keeping the eating and drinking habits of a 22 year old, I found myself putting on a lot of weight, losing flexibility, becoming weak (particularly core strength and legs) and getting tired easily. I joined a local gym at the beginning of 2012 and worked hard to improve my situation with very little results. I met Neville in March and started training with him and then Michael from then.

TARGET GOALS:

Right now I feel quite smugly proud of myself! I recently had to have a check up at the heart hospital (a annual thing but this year was a big one with many comprehensive technical tests including an exercise test). I was determined to smash any record of the exercise test. However, they sent me home after weighing me, checking my pulse and listening to my chest. They said I was beyond expectations and the was no need to do any tests!! (Secretly I was disappointed not to have a crack at the exercise test record!)

HOW YOU GOT THERE:

He devised a plan specific to what I needed and before I knew it, it was time for our first hour-long session.

Neville was very sensitive to what I was able to do 60 minutes unknowingly passed, in which I learnt invaluable training tips and techniques.
